Asher has managed investment portfolios as a primary occupation since 2009, as well as overseeing his personal portfolio since 1996. He founded Magnifina because he wanted to share his passion for investments with others, particularly those who had traditionally been overlooked by the finance industry.
Prior to Magnifina, Asher co-managed Bloomsbury Partners, a private investment company, and grew its assets to over $25 million. Before that, he was an Assistant Vice President on HSBC’s foreign exchange trading desk.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from Queen Mary University of London, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Ithaca College, where he doubled majored in Economics and English Literature. Having grown up in Seattle, Asher is also an avid skier and sailor.
